  Les grands pontes du black metal ont modifié notre perception du nord : ils l'ont gelée — le jeu de mots est voulu. Le nord, on l'associe automatiquement au froid et à la Norvège (ou la Suède, pourquoi pas). Avec son premier album The Idea of North, Norilsk nous rappelle que le nord est d'abord un concept et, par conséquent, il est ici protéiforme.
